Node, the power outlet of tomorrow - Always on the lookout for new ways to provide power in my designs, this could be pretty cool, although (and this is where it gets technical), not sure how this would work in Europe without an earth...
That's definitely the way to go until we finally figure out how to wirelessly beam electricity, like all of those classic "robots take over the world" tales where the humans win by shutting off the one and only "power transmitter".
Wireless electricity is closer than you think. I believe that it'll happen and integrate into the home in the next 20-30 years :)... since I am in that industry I kinda have some inside information...
