Battlestar Galactica Season 4 trailer
Battlestar Galactica season 4 trailer is online. It seems it’s an old one, but i really like what they’ve done with the shadows coming in and out. The good news is that at least it’s coming in March, as originally I thought Sci-fi was going to try and put it out in April. Is there any news as to how far into everything the team is in the development of the series? ie will we be expect some more waiting in between episodes or are they going to show the whole thing in one chunk (yeah I know wishful thinking and all that).
There’s really no reason to break the season at this time of the year. Fall releases usually break during the holiday season, in order to maximize their viewership. Spring releases don’t have the same holiday distractions. The only other hurdle is production.
If they are going ahead with premiere, it’s probably safe to assume that they have at least 8-10 episodes in the can. Third party sources confirm that half the episodes have been shot and that production on the second half will resume in March.
I can’t think of a business reasons why they wouldn’t want to run straight through. Generally speaking, the fewer breaks that a show has between episodes, the higher that show’s ratings usually are. That being said, this is show business after all.
Maybe they’ll want to stager release in two chunks, so that the finale will lead into whatever the SCIFI channel is pushing at that time. Here’s hoping it’s Caprica!
